4) New Courses and Courses Under Construction - Batky-Howell is constantly expanding our course offerings

1) Ajax Courses

Rich Internet Applications are transforming the Web and Ajax is the leading technology in this realm. Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) is a browser-based technology for creating highly interactive Web applications by updating parts of a Web page with new data without reloading the whole page.

Ajax for Java Developers - This course covers the most current server-side and client-side Ajax frameworks, as well as many other topics: Javascript Object Notation (JSON), JavaServer Faces (JSF), and Direct Web Remoting (DWR).

ASP.NET Ajax Using C# - Learn foundational topics, such as JavaScript, DTHML, the Document Object Model (DOM) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) before moving on to various components of Microsoft's AJAX support, including ASP.NET AJAX Extensions, the AJAX Client Library, and the AJAX Control Toolkit.

2) New Web Services Course

Web Services Using Axis2 - The goal of web services is to enable heterogeneous software systems to interoperate using XML and well-known protocols such as HTTP. The Axis2 project from Apache is a feature-rich, modular, Java web service framework that embraces the most current standards in the web service world.

4) New Courses and Coming Soon!

Introduction to Windows Presentation Foundation Using C# - This course introduces Windows Presentation Foundation or WPF ("Avalon"), the new .NET technology from Microsoft for building rich Windows applications. It is part of .NET 3.0 and includes an XML-based markup language for defining program elements, Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML). This course covers the essentials of WPF, providing an orientation to this technology and a firm foundation for creating applications.

Oracle10g Real Application Clusters Administration - Oracle Real Application Clusters is used to create a cluster of servers that can be deployed across a single database. This allows for high fault tolerance, failover and scalability.

And now, a word from our author:
"An Oracle10g Real Application Cluster environment requires a complex hardware, software, and network setup. What makes our classroom setup so unique is that students can attend the class remotely from their home or office. With just a browser window, they have full access to the Linux desktop of a PC in our classroom. They can use all of the RAC administration tools, even the graphical ones, from inside the safety of their firewall." - Danielle Hopkins, Instructor and Author
